Panel - "Global and Local Korea: Korean Studies in a Changing World”
In recent years, the rapid transformation of Korea amidst an accelerated process of globalization has profoundly altered our understanding of Korea and its place in the world. Taking an interdisciplinary approach that includes history, literature, social science, and international relations, this panel examines the ways in which the study of Korea actively participates in the making of a changing world through new ways of thinking about Korea's past, present, and future.
