Institute Funding for Columbia Students

The Institute offers funding for research, language acquisition, unpaid internships, and dissertation write-up during the summer and academic year to selected Columbia students committed to professional and academic engagement with East Asia. Eligibility varies depending on the particular funding opportunity, so please review the application materials carefully before applying. The deadline for applications is generally in late February to early March each year for projects occurring the following summer or academic year.

The next deadline for all WEAI fellowships and grants will be March 5, 2010.
