|Pranav Desai is a final year Bachelor of Management Studies student at H.R. College of
Commerce & Economics affiliated to the University of Mumbai. A natural leader, Pranav has taken positions of responsibility in the International Programs Office, the Placement Cell and was appointed as a member of the Student Academic Council (BMS). At the professional level he has interned with the Agakhan Education Services India, Chirag Rural India Development Foundation, Akanksha Foundation and Community Outreach Program, Dharavi.
Pranav spends hours in the library on research initiatives and has worked with Professor Navin Punjabi as a research assistant. A research paper on Islamic Finance, which Pranav worked on has been selected for publication. Pranav has been awarded an All Rounder Award, Outstanding Contribution Award for BMS, Best Organizer Award for Placements, an Outstanding Contribution Award as well as the Leadership Award for International Programs. Pranav’s interests lie in the social, education, dance and music realms.
|Akanksha Jain is a second year Bachelor of Management Studies student at H.R. College of Commerce & Economics affiliated to the University of Mumbai. As an outstanding academic, Akanksha has been selected for the H.R. Honors Program. She has participated in the International Programs Office and has worked in positions of leadership to host student delegations from the UK and USA as well as academic and women’s delegations that have visited the college. This involvement won her a Best Organizer Award. Her professional training led her to take an internship at Punj Llyod, where she worked on a PSA Squash Tournament by managing the marketing of the program and facilitation of sale of tickets. Her desire to give back to society led her to take on teaching assignments at Dr. Balasaheb Ambedkar School and Salaam Balak Trust. Akanksha also took up an online assignment with American Online (AOL) working on project Coolage – a college hyper local content website. Akanksha is proficient in English
|Sama Jashnani is a final year Bachelor of Management Program student in H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, affiliated to the University of Mumbai. She is an honors student at the college. Sama has a keen desire to give back to society. She has worked with ProjectChirag to help light up villages with solar energy; Satya Seva Organisation, where she teaches English to students who have their main instruction in Marathi; Fisherman's Colony, where she teaches Mathematics and English and the Vatsalya Foundation where she teaches English. Sama enjoys working in theatre and has attended workshops in London and California. She has also taken a course in video making and animation software. On a professional level, Sama has worked at the theatre company AK Various Productions, Sama Jewelry Pvt Ltd, Royal Bank of Scotland, First Rand Bank, and Percept D'Mark on research and marketing. Sama has traveled extensively and is looking forward to doing her Masters in the UK.|
|Kalyani Khona is a final year Bachelor of Financial Management student at H.R. College of Commerce & Economics affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Kalyani has participated in the Honors Program at H.R. College. She is an active member at AIESEC, Mumbai and is currently working with them as their corporate relations manager (Incoming Exchange) in addition to working as an event manager at Anokees Events & Management. She has also interned as a summer trainee (Business Development) at HSBC 'Invest Direct'. Kalyani has diverse interests; she likes to work with people and groups and enjoys being active and traveling. She is proficient in English and Hindi.|
|Aakash Mehta is a second year Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance) student at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Aakash has received the Excellence Award (2010), Outstanding Contribution Award (2011, 2012) for his contributions to the activities of the college. He is an avid reader and loves writing songs and poems. Aakash has been active in organizing events at the college and has contributed to the organization of the Talent Parade- a music, dance and drama extravaganza showcasing the best of talent in the college, "We are the World" a Rotaract club event, work related to the class of 2017 and the Study India Program. Aakash is good at communicator, team player and works well with computers. He is proficient in English Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi.|
|Aayushi Sheth is a final year Bachelor of Financial Management student at H.R. College of Commerce & Economics affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Aayushi has undertaken diverse roles in the college including organizing the Class of 2017 program, being a member of the hospitality department of the H.R. College Model United Nations Program and serving as a member of the Rotaract Club of H.R. College. She has been the recipient of the General Leadership Award at H.R. College. At the professional level, Aayushi has interned at CNBC – TV 18 in their production department and at the Anvil Share and Broking Pvt. Ltd. on a research program focused on Financial Markets. Aayushi loves to read, paint and travel and is fluent in English and Hindi.|
