Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute

This series is directed by Professors Kim Brandt, Eugenia Lean, Carol Gluck and Gray Tuttle and is sponsored by the Institute. The aim of the series is to bring to light scholarship on modern and contemporary East Asia and Southeast Asia. Since its inception in 1962, the series has published over 150 titles by scholars from all over the world. The studies are published by various university and trade presses.
