Vice Presidents, Making Music Matter
Tim is a senior in SEAS majoring in Applied Mathematics and minoring in Economics. He has played trumpet in the Wind Ensemble for four years and been a part of the exec board and Making Music Matter for three years.
Sam is a senior in the joint program between Columbia's School of General Studies and the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is majoring in English & Comparative Literature and Jewish Literature with a concentration in education from Barnard. He has been juggling with a range of brass instruments since 4th grade, playing trumpet, baritone, euphonium and trombone in a number of ensembles and genres, including jazz, marching, renaissance and symphonic music. He is excited to be taking on the role of vice president of Making Music Matter this year.
Sherrie Deng

Sherrie Deng is currently a sophmore at Barnard College. This is her third year playing flute and piccolo in the CUWE. She love, love, loves her job as treasurer/social chair and this wonderful group of instrumentalists!
Personnel Manager/Equipment Manager
Scott is a sophomore in Columbia College who is pursuing a joint major in Economics and Political Science. He has been playing trumpet since fourth grade and is currently in a number of other performing groups on campus, in addition to CUWE, including the University Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble. This is Scott's second year in the Wind Ensemble and he is very excited to take on the roles of both personnel manager and equipment manager.

Curtis Cooper is a senior in Columbia College and is majoring in Computer Science. He has been a trombonist in the CUWE since his sophomore year, and enjoys cool things like baseball and making video game music arrangements for trombone choir.
