The Columbia University Wind Ensemble has around 60 members, comprised of undergraduate students from all of Columbia's undergraduate schools and fields of study. We take pride in giving priority to Columbia undergraduates because they should have the most access to a Columbia performing group. If space is available we also accept some Columbia graduate students and community members who are invaluable to attaining the proper instrumentation and reaching a high level of musicality. Wind Ensemble members are not only musicians filling chairs, but they also help the conductor choose pieces for our programs. Members also give feedback to the all-student executive board, who respond to the musicians' needs. Click on the Conductor, Executive Board, and Members pages to learn more about who we are!
