Assistant Professor

Cecily Parks holds a BA from Rice University, an MFA from Columbia University, and a PhD in English from the CUNY Graduate Center.  She is the author of the chapbook Cold Work (Poetry Society of America, 2005) and the poetry collection Field Folly Snow (University of Georgia Press, 2008), which was a finalist for the Norma Farber First Book Award and the Glasgow/Shenandoah Prize for Emerging Writers.  Her poems and reviews most recently appear in American Letters & Commentary, Boston Review, Kenyon Review, Orion, Virginia Quarterly Review, and elsewhere.
