Lecturer

Jenny Offill has a B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in fiction at Stanford University.  She is the author of the novel Last Things (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1999) which was chosen as a notable or best book of the year by The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Village Voice and The Guardian and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times First Book Award.  She is also the editor, with Elissa Schappell, of two anthologies, The Friend Who Got Away (Doubleday 2006) and Money Changes Everything (Doubleday 2007). In 2007, she received a NYFA fellowship in fiction.
