HERMYON. Hermione, the daughter of Helen and Menelaus, was married against her will to Pyrrhus, Achilles's son, although she had been previously betrothed to Orestes (Heroides VIII).

The Man of Law lists Hermyon's story among Chaucer's works, MLI 66, but there is no tale for her in The Legend of Good Women or anywhere else.

The shortened form appears in final rhyming position.
