NEMBROT. Nimrod, son of Chus and great-grandson of Noah, was a mighty hunter. His city was Babel, where the great tower was built (Genesis 10:8-10; 9:9). In medieval tradition, Nimrod was a man of pride who wanted to work great wonders and so built the tower higher than heaven (Cursor mundi 2195-2304).

Nembrot was the first tyrant to build high towers, Form Age 56-59.

Nembrot, a variant of the ME Nembrothe in the Cursor mundi, occurs medially in Form Age 58.
