Each planet has a solar or day house ruled by the sun, found in the semicircle from Leo to Capricorn, and a lunar or night house, ruled by the moon, found in the semicircle from Cancer to Aquarius (see Map 5). The following order of the planets follows the Ptolemaic system (see Maps 4 and 5).
