TERMAGAUNT. Medieval Christians believed that Termagant was part of the Muslim pantheon of gods. He appears as a god of the Saracens throughout La Chanson de Roland (63, 2589, 2696, 2712, 3267, etc.) and as part of the Saracen trinity of Appolyn, Mahound, and Termagant in the ME romance, Sir Guy of Warwick 3701.
