THOAS was king of Lemnos and father of Hypsipyle. When the Lemnian women, enraged by jealousy, killed all the men on the island, Hypsipyle saved her father's life and helped him escape by boat (Heroides VI.139-140; Argonauticon II.311-430).

Ysiphele, daughter of Thoas, is queen of Lemnos when Jason and his companions arrive, LGW 1465-1468. [Isiphile: Jason]

Thoas appears once, in medial position, LGW 1468.
