THOBIE2, the younger, was Tobias's son.

The Parson, in his homily on lechery, reminds his audience that married people commit adultery when they think that, because they are married, they may indulge in fleshly delights. The angel Raphael reminded Tobias that the fiend has power over such people, ParsT 905-906. In Tobias 4:16-18 the angel says that the fiend has power over those who put God out of their hearts. [Raphael: Thobie1]

Thobie is the French variant.
