As the world's most global public policy school, Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) embraces a vision of policy studies that crosses national boundaries. More than any of our peers, SIPA focuses on transnational policy areas, applying global best practices to local issues, and training leaders to engage multiple levels of governance to reach effective solutions.
Our graduates leave SIPA as agents of change who bring vital expertise, insight, and enthusiasm to the critical issues affecting public affairs at the local, national, and international levels.
Each year SIPA seeks to enroll students from the United States and abroad who aspire to meet the challenges facing diverse communities around the world.
On Friday, November 16, SIPA's Office of Admissions will join with SIPA Students of Color to host an admissions symposium. Current faculty and students will highlight unique contributions of students of color to global public policy and discuss potential opportunities for future graduates.
The program will also feature a discussion of admissions and financial aid for those who wish to consider graduate study at SIPA.
