"Catalysts for Change in a Fractured Healthcare Ecosystem"
Presented by the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Management Program and the
Healthcare Industry Association (HCIA)
Cost: $25 HCIA members, $40 Columbia students, $125 Columbia alumni, $200
professionals and all others.
The Conference attracts more than 500 professionals, alumni and students. It
features over 35 industry experts covering biopharmaceuticals, medical
technologies, payors, providers, HCIT, VC/private equity, M&A, and
int'l/emerging markets. Confirmed speakers include: Marc Tessier-Lavigne PhD,
president of Rockefeller University and former chief scientific officer of
Genentech, Laura Forese, MD, SVP, COO, CMO of New York-Presbyterian/Weill
Cornell, David Epstein '87, head of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Paul Fonteyne,
president and CEO, Boehringer-Ingelheim USA, and Tracy Bahl '04 (EMBA), senior
advisor General Atlantic LLC and former chairman of Emdeon and CEO of Uniprise
(UnitedHealthcare). The Conference offers networking opportunities throughout
the day, and concludes with a reception/ career fair with major healthcare
employers.
