This workshop will address questions about forming a family, with a special focus on adoption, second-parent adoptions and known donor agreements, and protecting your partner/spouse through proper planning especially wills, proxies, and filing taxes.

Presenters: Evita Nancy Torre is an adoption attorney at Greenberg Adoption: The Law Offices of Clifford L. Greenberg, co-hosts the monthly Family Law Clinic at the LGBT Center and writes a legal column for It's Conceivable Now: LGBT Parenting in New York. Wendy Fitzsimons is an estate and tax lawyer, and is a partner at Romer Debbas, LLP, which is a proud member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce of New York.
