| Dr. Katherine Shear, Director of the Center for Complicated Grief at Columbia University School of Social Work, will host Lifting the Fog: An Introduction to Complicated Grief Treatment which will provide an introduction to the complicated grief model and the principles and procedures of complicated grief treatment (CGT), an evidence-based psychotherapy. The workshop will address diagnosis and assessment of complicated grief in outpatient settings, basic assumptions and underlying principles used in CGT, core procedures used in CGT, and the strategy for providing CGT in 16 weekly sessions. |
