Networking is the single most important skill to include in your job  search toolbox.  As a GSer, it is crucial to take advantage of the rich networking opportunities available through alumni, peers, faculty and administrators. 
Join us for this presentation and practice your newfound skills with GS alumni during a networking reception directly afterwards!
By attending this presentation, you will learn the following:
- Columbia-specific networking resources to take advantage of
- The basics of LinkedIn and how to find Columbia alumni through this robust resource
- How an introvert can feel comfortable networking
- Tips and tricks to maintain relationships and feel positive about your exchanges. 

Business attire is recommended;  however business casual is allowed. (See our Professional Attire Tipsheet)

Registration required.  In order to attend the networking reception, you must attend the networking presentation.  Registration is for both events.
Resume required?  We recommend that you bring your resume and business cards.  Please only share your resume if the alumnus has asked for it.
