The Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies is proud to present The Past and Present of Jewish Storytelling, a dynamic discussion of narrative, ancient and modern storytelling, in the Jewish tradition. We are bringing together Jewish writers and academics to discuss Jewish writing for two days of fascinating discourse. Please join us! The topic on Sunday, May 5, will be Ancient Storytelling with such prominent speakers and scholars as Robert Kawashima, Alan Cooper, Hindy Najman, Laura Lieber and Tzvi Novick. On Monday, May 6, we will continue the conversation with Dara Horn, Philip Schultz, Joshua Cohen, Peter Cole, and many others!
