The Four Nations Ensemble and guest artists present at the Maison Franaise a three-concert celebration of two French masters, Jean-Marie Leclair and Jean Philippe Rameau, in honor of their 250th birthdays. The Maison Franaise East Gallery provides an intimate and resonant concert space, the musicians are exceptional, and each evening begins with a talk by an important writer-scholar offering context for the music and time period. Program curated by Andrew Appel, director of the Four Nations Ensemble. See www.fournations.org for full concert details.
