Undergraduate Program in Sustainable Development Brown Bag: Career Paths and Obtaining an Internship in the Field of Sustainable Development

The Earth Institute and the Undergraduate Program in Sustainable Development present Rebecca Schnall, Senior Associate Director, Columbia University Center for Career Education. Join Rebecca for this interactive presentation to:

  • Learn about career options related to sustainable development and ways to follow growth in the field
  • Get tips on marketing your undergraduate degree to potential employersGet tips on marketing your undergraduate degree to potential employers
  • Identify ways to gain experience and meet people in your field of interest on and off campusIdentify ways to gain experience and meet people in your field of interest on and off campus

All participants will receive a resource guide with information on networking groups, useful job boards, and recommended reading after the session.

Bio: Rebecca has a passion for helping people find their professional fit. In her current role, she provides counseling and creates programs to foster the career success of Columbia University students and recent alumni. In addition to career counseling, Rebecca developed and taught the first course on environmental career tracks at New York University.

This event is open to all undergraduates.  Registration is required.
