Visual Arts | Reading and Performance: Eleanor Antin
Tuesday, October 30, 2012 - 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Columbia University, Morningside Campus, Miller Theater
In this performative reading, Antin presents chapters from her new coming-of-age memoir, Conversations with Stalin. Through desperate, endearing, and often hilarious quests for art, self, revolution and sex, Comrade Stalin serves as an imaginary confidant. This reading is one in a four-part series in which Antin presents chapters of her memoir at different venues around New York: The Jewish Museum (Oct. 28), Brooklyn Museum (Nov. 1) and the Ronald Feldman Fine Arts Gallery (Nov. 3).
