Layout Notes
For consistency, pages that use the Columbia.edu style should include the following elements:
- Top banner. Includes CU logo* and links to Home, Search & Directories, A-Z Index, and Help.
- Bottom banner. Includes links to About Columbia and copyright information.
All content that falls between the top and bottom banners can appear however the site's owners prefer. However, the gray vertical lines on the left and right borders of the page should be maintained.
To avoid confusion, the style of the Columbia.edu navigation bar is reserved for sites pertaining to university-wide matters and should not be used on sites for individual schools, departments, etc.
Page width should equal 760 pixels.
*Groups that need more space for their own banner may use this template without the university logotype.
