The Columbia University Bookstore is located on the lower level of Lerner Hall. In addition to the course books ordered by faculty, the Bookstore stocks more than 65,000 general book titles, as well as school supplies, academic software, dorm products, and imprinted apparel and gifts.
The Bookstore maintains a Web site where book events are posted, merchandise is made available for online shopping, and faculty may place their course book orders. The Bookstore accepts cash, checks, all major credit cards, Barnes & Noble gift cards, and the Columbia Card for those who have an activated Flex Account.

The Teachers College Bookstore features textbooks for Teachers College as well as general trade texts and software. Employees with a valid Columbia University ID receive a 10 percent discount.

The CUMC Audubon Bookstore carries required and recommended textbooks for Columbia medical courses as ordered by faculty. It also stocks academic supplies, imprinted items, clothing, academically priced software, and medical instruments. Mail and phone orders are also available. The Bookstore accepts Barnes & Noble gift certificates, cash, checks, and credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover). Payment by check requires two forms of identification or a Columbia Card.
