CGI Program: query-post

Syntax

: <form action="/cgi-bin/query-post" method=POST>

Description

Reads the data from your form and displays it so you can tell if your form is working properly. Test your form using this program if you are using method=POST. A separate program, called query-get, is used for testing forms with method=GET.

Point your <form> tag to the query-post program for testing, then change it back when you are done.

Important Note

Some browsers (MacMosaic?) require the word POST in the method attribute to be in upper case.
