| Students are required to do the assigned readings before class. They will be required to present readings in class, participate in discussions in which they do not take the lead, and write a research paper of 25-40 pages. In each class, each student will be responsible for giving a brief summary of a particular reading. Class discussions will count for half the grade and the paper for the other half. |
