Introduction

This course provides a "hands-on" introduction to the different physiological systems in vertebrates and invertebrates.  Students learn how to operate a variety of physiological monitoring devices, and collect and analyze physiological data. To this end, they perform non-invasive experiments on themselves, and invasive experiments on other vertebrates and insects. For the final lab exercise, students design and execute a physiological study on their own.--John Glendinning
