NOTES TO STUDENTS:

1) Field clothing may get dirty or torn. Boots are required for some field activities.

2) There will be at least one overnight field trip during the course. Students are encouraged
to bring camping gear they own with them. While this will be “car-camping,” students who
own a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent, and a backpacking-size camp stove are encouraged
to bring them. We will make arrangements to obtain/borrow these things for students who
are not able to bring them.  You may also wish to bring these items if you wish to do any
camping on weekends.

THIS IS A GUIDE FOR YOU TO USE – IT IS NOT WRITTEN IN STONE.
