Important Note!
1) Please first try different browsers (IE 5.0+, Firefox, Safari and etc) to view the courseworks site if you encounter some "weird" problems.
2) Any file related to the course will be posted at the corresponding week, please go to Syllabus by Week to download.
3) For any administrative problems during the year, send an email to the Undergraduate office: Socky Log (sl27@Columbia.edu) or Daisy Melendez (dm55@Columbia.edu) or visit them at their office, 340 Havemeyer (to the right as you exit the class lecture hall, 309 Havemeyer). Messages to the instructor on administrative issues will be forwarded to the undergraduate office.
4) The class is encouraged to send Professor Turro suggestions for material to put on the home page.
5) For any problems with courseworks, send an email to the help

• Course material is posted each week on Syllabus by Week
• Go to Syllabus by Chapter for course material if you would like to review course chapter by chapter.
• Go to "Test & Quiz" section to do practice exams and surveys. They will be shown to you only at the right time
• Check your grade at "Grade Book" section
• Go to "Discussion" section to ask questions or exchange information about the lectures, assignments with your classmates and the instructor
