This is a modern textbook.
Molecular models:
1. Computer molecular modeling software: ChemOffice (available at the Columbia Book Store).
2. Ball and stick molecular models (sets are also available at the Columbia bookstore).
There will be two midterm exams on Monday of February 26 and April 16, 2001. The lower score midterm will be dropped. The time and location of the final exam will be determined by the registrar. Problem sets will be assigned weekly and will be graded. An absolute grading system will be used in this course. This means that the class grades will not be curved and thus it is possible for all students to earn an A!
