Look at the attached copy of Harper's Index. Choose any two items
from the list that suggest a cause-and-effect relationship. This
relationship does not have to be immediately obvious-but be sure to
provide a logical analysis of it. In your essay, do the following:
First, describe a possible cause-and-effect relationship between the
items you've chosen. Second, critique this relationship. What are
some problems with it? What about it makes the most sense? Finally,
discuss alternative logical relationships between these items, and say
something about cause-and-effect reasoning.
400-600 words. Due Wednesday, February 7. You do not need to cite
the facts you use from the Index.
