| Written requirements are as follows: (1) A short essay (3-5pp.), due in class on Wed. 10/3; (2) A research assignment on Shakespeare in the 18th century, due on Fri. 11/9; (3) A final essay (7-10pp.), due on Wed. 12/12. You will also be responsible for posting discussion questions to the course bulletin board for one of the main texts; I’ll circulate a sign-up sheet in the first full week of classes. Please check the board for messages at least once a week; contributions to discussion there count as class participation and will affect your grade. Attendance at lectures is also required. |
