Open only to first year MFA candidates in Film. Prerequisite: Film R6071. Corequisites: Film R6096 and R6038.Students shoot and edit in video an 8-12 minute screenplay developed in the writing workshop by another student. The director's work on script, floor plans, staging, camera, and storyboards are completed during the semester, along with shooting and editing on video of a minimum of two dramatic/narrative scenes that focus on integrating the above work with that of the Directing the Actors classes. This collaborative project will be shot and edited during the summer break. AN edited copy must be submitted to the Division office prior to registering for FIlm R8002x.
