Sept. 13
Since class was cancelled on Tuesday, September 11, the lectures are a
day behind what is listed on the syllabus. At some point, Dr. Plaa will
collapse or delete a lecture, and we will post a revised syllabus here.
The paper is still due on Oct. 11 and the midterm will be on Oct. 23,
as scheduled. (Of course it will not cover any lecture material that was
not covered in class.)

Sept. 18
As you probably know, Labyrinth has run out of copies of Merry Wiesner's
book. Three copies are available on reserve at Barnard. (Actually, copies
of all of the books are available on reserve at Barnard.)

The Return of Martin Guerre is now available at Labyrinth. The Wiesner
book should be in next week.
