DIVERTICULITIS
	• Results from stagnation of fecal material in single diverticulum leading to pressure necrosis of mucosa and inflammation • Clinical presentation – most pts have h/o diverticula – mild to moderate, colicky to steady, aching abdominal pain - usually LLQ – may have fever and leukocytosis
