Hospitalization in Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
	• Surgical emergencies not excluded • Pregnancy • Clinical failure of oral antimicrobials • Inability to follow or tolerate oral regimen • Severe illness, nausea/vomiting, high fever • Tubo-ovarian abscess
