Dr. B. I. N. Osuagwu is a friend whom I met at a 1979 seminar of the SPILC (Society for Promoting Igbo Language and Culture) at Nsukka, Nigeria. He is a Professor in the Department of Nigerian Languages, Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, and spent the 2002-2003 school year in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Osuagwu makes it clear in his Foreword that these two plays were written as assignments to his drama students, and he specifically names them in his Introduction. Material in square brackets
