"A DAMASCENED AND ETCHED ELEPHANT ANKUS, INDIA, 19TH CENTURY. With long handle and curved, ridged and thickened blade, the upper section of the handle with steel sheath decorated with diagonal bands of flowers, the cube shaped terminus with damascene floral edges and etched dome terminus, the blade with lobed demi-cartouche - 21 5/8in. (55.3cm) long."
