The Jama Masjid of Jaunpur was built largely in the reign of Sultan Husain Sharqi (r.1458-79), the last ruler of the independent dynasty
The Akbari Bridge (1564-68), a remarkable structure with fifteen arches, was later added by Munim Khan, the local governor under Akbar
