"Woodblock prints by British American printmaker Charles William Bartlett (1860-1940). Bartlett is a well documented artist who traveled extensively in India, China, Japan and other parts of Asia, influencing his art for the rest of his life. In Japan, he learned woodblock printmaking, one of a handful of Western artists who mastered the Japanese print during this period."
