"Authentic, Plain, Simple Calligraphy in Nasta'aliq script in black and white but elegant and very imposing. This persian couplet scribed by famous calligrapher Imamuddin (Calligrapher used the word of "Aasi" before signing his name-meaning "Ignorant" and "Affi Allah Unho"- meaning "May Allah forgive him" after his name. This Callligraphic panel is dated 1289 Al Hijri (Presently it is 1423 Al Hijri- according to the Islamic Lunar Calender).This Calligraphy has been done in honor of a Sikh nobleman-Gulab Singh-which is recorded in the text of of this Calligraphy. This is suitably mounted to fit in a frame of 9X12 inches. Inside Calligraphic text: 5.5 X 7.5 inches."
