KHOSRAW VISITING SHIRIN. Mughal India, late 16th century. A leaf from the Shahnameh, gouache heightened with gold on paper, prince Khosraw visiting Shirin seated in a pavilion accompanied by attendants on horseback, with lines of black nasta'liq above, with preceding text folio with 25ll. of black nasta'liq within four gold outlined columns, slight tarnishing. Folio 11¾ x 7¼in. (30 x 18.5cm.); miniature 5½ x 6¼in. (14 x 15.7cm.)

Folio 11¾ x 7¼in. (30 x 18.5cm.); miniature 5½ x 6½in. (14 x 16.5cm.)."
