"NASTA'LIQ QUATRAIN BY MUHAMMAD HUSAYN QALAM AKBAR SHAHI, MUGHAL INDIA 17TH CENTURY.
Persian manuscript on buff paper, 4ll. of elegant nasta'liq written diagonally, in clouds reserved against a gold ground with finely painted naturalistic polychrome foliage and with blue, gold, orange and black corner-piece, mounted on an album page with pink margins decorated with naturalistic flowers and birds. Folio 12 5/8 x 8 1/8in. (32 x 20.6cm.); text 5 7/8 x 2¾in. (15.2 x 7cm.)."
