Description

Invention and human civilization, utilization of motivation and imagination, sensitivity enhancement in finding area for improvement, techniques to enhance creation productivity, idea realization process, brainstorming in creative collaboration, idea evaluation and market analysis, intellectual property and patent law, entrepreneurship, promoting ideas with in corporate environment.

Objectives

Technological invention is the ultimate achievement of engineering discipline.

  1. To teach students to apply their imagination and principles of engineering to invent new and useful products or processes.
  2. To promote the engineer's creativity and to increase their competitiveness in technological innovation in the realistic world.
  3. To offer the graduating student and graduate student what typical engineering education missed for a more successful career as an employee or business owner.
  4. To help a graduate student do a better job in research.
  5. This course is offered in different formats: lecture, guest speaker, group discussion and competition, workshop, forum, situation setting practice, in-class practice, company/patent library/department store visit.
