About
Eamon Kircher-Allen is pursuing a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University, with a concentration on International Media and Communications. He received a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley, where he wrote his senior honors thesis on Pentecostal Christians from Ghana living in Oakland, California. After working for a year at the Department of Elections in San Francisco -- his hometown -- Eamon spent 2005 and 2006 in Damascus, Syria, where he worked for the UN Resident Coordinator's office. Among other things, he created websites for the UN Country Team in Syria, and for news on the war in Lebanon in 2006.

For the six months before his enrollment at Columbia, Eamon worked at California Lawyer Magazine, where he fact-checked and wrote a few articles.
