Ian Cheng is an MFA candidate in Visual Arts at Columbia. He received a BA in Cognitive Science and Art Practice at UC Berkeley. In 2006, he worked at Industrial Light & Magic, a post production facility in San Francisco. His overwhelming skepticism of new media in the accelerated economy led me to take this course.
