Scott Walker is an Executive MPA student (concentration: international political economy) taking additional courses at SIPA, along with IFP workshops, research projects and some teaching assistant work. His most recent professional experience was working as a policy / public affairs manager by British Music Rights in London where he was responsible for developing relationships with a range of senior-level media, political, governmental, regulatory and business audiences. He also managed extensive stakeholder engagement projects through supporting, and at times, coordinating the Music Business Forum, the informal collaboration of all the music (trade) associations in the UK. Previously he served a range of major international (media) clients as a public affairs consultant (account supervisor) with the public relations firm, Fleishman-Hillard, for four years. He completed a BA (Hon) in Politics and Government and a Masters in International Relations, both from the Univ of Kent, UK. He also has a post-graduate Diploma in public relations. Most recently he completed a law degree while working full-time.
