The following are books that have substantial content on the course syllabus,
meaning we will read half or most of their chapters. They have been ordered
from the Columbia University Barnes & Nobles Bookstore (located on
first floor of Lerner Hall, 2922 Broadway), and are also on Reserve in
Butler Library. In addition, there is a Course Packet containing
most (but not all) of the readings not found in these books available
for purchase at Copyquick (1211 Amsterdam Ave., between 119th & 120th
Streets). The course packet is also on Reserve. Some of the readings on
the syllabus are only available on Reserve; however, unless otherwise
noted, they are still required reading. There is also a Supplemental
Graduate Course Packet on Reserve and available for purchase at Copyquick
for graduate students enrolled in this course.
