Although I've been living in Le?n for nine years now, I was born in Palencia (a small city, not far from Le?n). I am in my final year at university (degree in English). So now is time to start thinking in what to do next, and that is really hard. What I would like to do is to go abroad for a year. I live with my parents in a flat at ten minutes from campus. I only have an elder brother. In my free time I like listening to music, going out with friends, and that kind of things. Olga Blanco Castrillo Hi everyone!! My name is Olga and I am studying English Philology: I?m 21 years old and I live in a small village near Leon, where the uni is. I go to university by car every day; sometimes it is a bit tricky, specially when it is snowing... but it?s OK anyway!! I live with my family. I?ve got a brother, Pablo, who is working in a factory. My mum is a househife and my father is a coach driver, so he uses to spend a lot of time out of home. Hopefully, this will be the last year of my degree. I?d like to work around the world, travelling and discovering new things. I love travelling, that is my favourite hobby!! Last year, I studied in Manchester with an Erasmus exchange. When I was a child I used to go to the park and when I was 15 I swam and played football at school I?m an Spanish student of English at the University of Le?n, in Spain. In my free time, I use to go for a walk with my friends and to have a drink in the bars of Le?n. I have never been abroad and I would like to go to Ireland to know more about what I?m studying. I spent there my chilhood playing with my friends and staying with my family. When I was 18 I came to Leon to start with my degree, English Philology. Now I hope to finish my studies and begin to work as soon as possible, but that is only a "dream". Sara Fern?ndez Prieto My name is Sara Fernandez Prieto.I am 21years old and my birthday is in March.I live in a small village in the south of Leon called Villama?an; I feel deeply attached to it and its people.One of my hobbys is going out with my friends:I enjoyed a lot with them.I also like playing sports,reading a book,going to the cinema and listening to music.I am studying English Philology because I like too much languages specially English.I have a brother called Mario.He is two years older than me and he likes languages too. Natalia Garc?a My name is Natalia. I am 23 years old and I am from Leon. I have two older sisters and a niece. I study in the University of Leon a degree in English. Here in Leon I live with 3 flatmates because my family home is far away.My family home is in a village called La Robla and I spend some weekends there with my mother. This is supposed to be my least year in the University but I am not very sure of this. In my free time I like listening to music, going to the cinema and going out with my friends to enyoy myself. I love skiing although this year I cannot sky because iIt was not snow yet I really like travelling and someday I?ll go there to visit you. Another hobby I have is speed. I like driving my car, but you should not think that I am a crazy driver. In fact, I am very cautious driving and I like speed in places where I am allowed to take speed with a smaller car. I have been living in Leon for 9 years and I like this town. My hobbies are dancing,singing while I am having a bath, listening to music ( especially hip-hop and reagge ), riding horses, so on and so forth. I live with my parents and the only thing that I do is just to study, because I don`t have time to work. Lara Mart?nez Cascallana Hello! My name is Lara and I am 24.I live in Le?n with my parents and at the weekend I go to my village which is very near of my city. I study English philology at the university but I was study Industrial engeneering before. I like to go out with my friends or go to the cinema,anything that that I can do with them is good.I like reading and travel,the sea and the moon. Ana Mar?a Quiroga Rodr?guez Hi, I'm Ana! I must say I do not come from Leon, but from Galicia, another Spanish region which I'm not sure you've heard of, and where people speak another language: galician. Some say it's a dialect of Spanish, and others consider it as a separate language. Anyway, this is not the important thing. So let's go on. I'm 22 years old, and I'm expected to finish my degree this year. I'm taking my lessons at the University of Leon, so as you can imagine I live in Leon during the week, and at weekends I come back home, to Galicia. I love music, especially celtic music, but I listen to all types of music, I love salsa, as well. I love all kind of music, and not only that one. For instance, I love Nickelback, but also Metallica.. That's all by now. I'll tell you more about me next time. M?nica Rodr?guez My name is M?nica. I am 23 years old and I live in Le?n with my parents and my sisters, one older and the other younger than me, so I am in the middle (the best position, I think). This is my last year in the university (I hope), and I think that in the future I will try to form my own family and I will also try to find a job that let me enough time to be with them. Perhaps these are things which are difficult to reach, but I think, at least, I should try. I enjoy my free time travelling. By now,I haven?t enough opportunities to go abroad but I think I will do it when I will have more money. I also pactice some sports. I like swimming, cicling, and tennis (I am learning tennis now). But, apart from these things, what I enjoy most is discovering new places with my old sister and our boyfriends. We get on really well, then we spend good times together. I also should add I like talking. I think I spend too much time talking... Tania Santos Fern?ndez My name is Tania and I am 21 years old. I was born in a small village between Leon and Galicia called Cacabelos. I have a brother and a twin sister whose names are Efr?n and Sandra. Right now I'm living in Leon, in the city, because I wanted to go to the University and my village is far from here. I am not a very strange person, my hobbies are music, Volley-ball and going out with people during all the day...but, today I can say that reading books is a new hobby. I'm living with my twin sister and it is a good flatmate, since she likes the same as me and we can share everything. We usually go out together and more or lesswe meet the same people, so we consider ourselves as friend as well, not only sisters. Our most tipical day is very usual in students' life. We get up in the morning and we come to the University until midnoon... (it is not finished) Yoana Su?rez de la O I am a 21 year-old girl and I am studying English Philologybecause I love literature, no matter the country it comes from and I try to read as much as possible but I don?t have much time since my university timetable is horrible. I was born in Le?n and when I was 12 years old I spent two years and a half in France. I have also been living in Belfast -Northern Ireland-. This is my last year at university and nowadays I am facing the big question of what to do with my life next year and, believe me, it is a very difficult issue. I like singing, writing, painting, and listening to music. Above all, I love classical music and jazz music -that is why a lot of people think I?m such a bore-. Besides that, I love animals and I have a cat called Mateo and I am very fond of frogs, I love seeing how they swim and I have had three of them at home though my mum can?t stand them. My family is not very big, I just have one brother who is 17 and we get on very well, though we are very different. Cecilia My name is Cecilia and I'm 21 years old. I have lived in Le?n for 12 years but I was born in Galicia. I live with my parents and my brother here in Le?n. I have spent last year studying in Dublin as an Erasmus student and I have never been to America although I would like to. I love reading, music and cinema specially Spanish films. Hope to hear from you soon. Cecilia Lorena I am a 21 year-old girl of a village of Le?n called Armellada, in the beautiful banks of the river ?rbigo. I study English Philology because I like literature and language and because I am very lazy and it is the only easy thing to study for me. I like all sorts of rock music: grunge, punk, heavy metal... I like living in a village and I want to live always in one, though it may suppose that I would be far of any civilised place.
